Things are a little quiet news/image wise at the moment, but I managed to come across the poster (albeit LQ) as well as the first stills from upcoming film, The Six Wives of Henry Lefay, which have been added to the gallery — Elisha looks gorgeous and it’s definitely a more ‘polished’ look for her film wise; I also love the poster! Here’s hoping some more will turn up soon. Gallery links and previews are below, enjoy! :)

I’ve added over 600 HQ DVD screencaptures of Elisha’s role in He Was A Quiet Man — while the film was interesting, I felt that Elisha played her part brilliantly, and so I may have gone a little cap crazy. ;) Also, be warned, as there is some brief nudity — and yes, it is a body double — but I couldn’t leave those caps out as it is integral to the scene. Unfortunately, there are no extras available. Gallery links and previews are below, enjoy! :)

The following article is a set visit/interview from last year (July 2007) when they were filming TV mini-series Guns and it offers an insight as to why it was made. An extract is posted below; click on the source link to read the article in full.

Sitting by herself, waiting for her scene is Elisha Cuthbert, who is working around Guns. “I had to fly to L.A. for two days of press for the film Captivity. Then it’s back here for more scenes, then I’ll be away again. I was only too happy this all worked out for me, the script just hit me, I had to do it.”

Later on at lunch, she showed off the whole Cuthbert family – dad, mom and siblings had driven in from Montreal to be with her. I reminded Cuthbert of the first time we’d met: her TV film Lucky Girl was coming on CTV and I predicted she’d win awards for it – and she did indeed cop a Gemini. At 18, she moved to L.A., hit it big in the first season of 24 as the daughter of Keifer Sutherland and Leslie Hope (”two more Canadians!”), then went the theatrical route with The Girl Next Door and House of Wax. Now a surprisingly mature 25-year-old, she says making independent films back in Canada is certainly part of her game plan.

“I play a seemingly nice girl, a philosophy major, who hooks up with a bad boy (Smith) and really loses her way … The way it was written grabbed me, there was a lot of insight there.”

Later at lunch, mama Cuthbert gave Sutherland permission to slap her back if she wasn’t co-operating – does this family know how popular their film star daughter is?

I felt this deserved a post of its own since My Sassy Girl is Elisha’s next project to be released on DVD; you may have heard that they’ve skipped the theatre release altogether and are instead releasing the movie direct to DVD — August 26, 2008 (R1) and August 18, 2008 (R2) — I’ve already pre-ordered my copy. ;) Gallery links and previews of the movie related images are listed below, enjoy! :)

Welcome back to Elisha Cuthbert Fan — your ultimate resource on Miss Cuthbert; since 2005. :) The site has changed hands a lot recently but it’s now staying where it is; I’m Angie, the original owner of the site, and long time visitors will know that I’ve tried to leave the site before — several times, in fact! — but there must be something about Elisha, as I can’t stay away for too long. ;)

I’m sure everyone has noticed that I’ve been updating the gallery with missing and new images in the last month or so; I shall be writing up a detailed post on that shortly — I also, finally, re-sorted the gallery so it should be much easier to find everything now. And I have DVD screencaptures from He Was A Quiet Man and scans from the UK issue of Maxim to add, among other things, as I work on getting the gallery fully completed to the best of my ability — so plenty to look forward to!

Hope everyone appreciates the new ‘fresh’ look — we’re now powered by the nifty Wordpress — and while the filmography pages aren’t yet complete — I shall be working on those over the next week or so — each section is back online and has been brought up-to-date; happy reading! ;) And finally, don’t hesitate to leave a comment on your way out, get in touch if need be, or (re)apply to be affiliates since I managed to break the old script.

So, without further ado, enjoy your stay here!
